Class Format

Warm-Up

10 minutes of movement drills and shadow boxing to get your body ready.

Technique

20-25 minutes of focused technique work — striking combinations, defensive drills, and grappling fundamentals.

Partner Drills

15-20 minutes of controlled partner work to apply techniques in realistic scenarios.

Cool Down

5 minutes of stretching and recovery.

Is this different from the regular MMA classes?
Our MMA Fitness classes ARE practical self-defense training. You'll learn boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and wrestling techniques that are the foundation of real-world self-defense. We also offer dedicated BJJ classes twice weekly.
Are the self-defense classes safe?
Absolutely. There's no forced sparring. Partner drills are controlled and progressive. You go at your own pace and our coach ensures a safe, respectful training environment.
How quickly will I learn to defend myself?
Within your first few classes you'll learn fundamental strikes, defensive movement, and basic positioning. Consistency is key — most students feel significantly more confident within 4-6 weeks of regular training.
What should I wear to class?
Comfortable workout clothes — athletic shorts or leggings and a t-shirt. We have gloves and wraps available for beginners. Free water and Gatorade provided.
